Compatible MICR toner for Lexmark MS-517

This four-pack of SuppliesMax black toner cartridges replaces Lexmark 51B1X00_4PK-MICR and yields up to 20000 pages at 5% coverage. Magnetic ink character recognition formulation meets banking standards for secure cheque and barcode printing. The cartridges are manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. Designed for 110V U.S.-based printers only.

Installation and common issues

Cartridges install like standard Lexmark toner units and require no special tools. A MICR drum unit must already be present in the printer; the toner will not function with a standard drum. Using a non-MICR drum is the most frequent cause of unreadable cheques. Ensure the printer model matches the supported MS-517dn, MS-617dn, MX-517de or MX-617de list before opening the pack.

Compatibility checklist before ordering

Confirm the printer is one of the four Lexmark models listed above and operates on 110V power. Verify a MICR drum unit is installed or available separately. Check that the OEM part number matches 51B1X00_4PK-MICR, 51B0XA0_4PK-MICR or 51B2X00_4PK-MICR. Buyers needing standard black toner for everyday documents or printers outside the listed series should select a different product.
