What this product is

SuppliesMax MICR Toner Cartridge 2 Pack supplies magnetic black toner for secure check and barcode printing. It replaces Unisys part numbers 83-9700-002_2PK-MICR, 81-9701-970_2PK-MICR and 81-9700-998_2PK-MICR. Two cartridges are included for high-volume environments.

The specification that decides fit

Cartridge yields 17600 pages at 0.05 coverage and is engineered for Unisys UDS-9712, UDS-9716, UDS-9718 and UDS-9724 printers. MICR formulation meets bank-compliant standards for magnetic character recognition. Verify your model number before ordering.

Installation and common issues

Cartridges install like standard toner units in supported 110V U.S. printers. Manufacturing follows ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 processes using new and recycled components. Using compatible supplies does not void the printer manufacturer warranty under U.S. law. Buyers needing non-MICR toner or higher page counts should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the 17600-page yield mean for daily check printing?

The 17600-page yield is measured at 5% coverage per page. Typical check runs use far less toner per page, so you will often exceed that figure in real use.

Does the cartridge meet banking MICR standards for the Unisys UDS-9712?

Yes. The magnetic toner is manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 facilities and is designed for bank-compliant check and barcode printing on supported 110V U.S. models.

Will the two-pack fit straight into a Unisys UDS-9724 without extra hardware?

Yes. Each cartridge is engineered as a direct replacement for Unisys part numbers 83-9700-002 and 81-9700-998, so it installs in the printer with no brackets or adapters required.
