57oz retro green electric kettle

The SUSTEAS 1309BT is a 57-ounce electric kettle finished in retro green. It uses 1500 watts to bring up to 1.7 litres of water to a boil in roughly five to six minutes. The interior, spout and lid are made from 18/8 stainless steel, while all water-contact plastics are BPA-free. A built-in thermometer and LED indicator on the one-touch switch simplify operation.

Ideal for quick hot water, not for precision brewing

This kettle suits anyone who wants fast boiling for tea, coffee or instant meals with automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection for safety. The heat-resistant handle and drip-free spout make everyday pouring easy. Buyers who need variable temperature settings for delicate teas or a keep-warm function should look at other models.

1500 watt heating element

The 1500 watt element determines how quickly the kettle reaches a full boil. At this power level it heats the maximum 1.7 litre capacity in about five to six minutes. If your kitchen circuit cannot support that draw, or if you need faster or slower heating, a different wattage would be required.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.7-litre capacity and 1500 W element work on the same kitchen circuit as my older appliances?

The kettle draws 1500 W and holds 1.7 litres; it plugs into a standard household outlet, so it shares a circuit like any other countertop appliance.

How do I know the 1309BT is heating correctly once I switch it on?

The one-touch switch has a built-in LED indicator that lights while the water is boiling and turns off automatically when the cycle finishes.

Does the 57 oz kettle include the honeycomb filter and is anything else needed to start using it?

The honeycomb filter is fitted inside the spout and the unit ships with a cord-storage base; no separate filter or accessory is required.
