Compatible Refrigerator Water Filter

The Swift Green SGF-M07 Rx is a replacement refrigerator water filter designed to fit models using UKF7003, UKF7001, EDR7D1 and Filter 7 cartridges. It uses a carbon block membrane housed in white plastic and is manufactured in the USA. The filter reduces chlorine taste and odor, lead, cysts, mercury, volatile organic compounds and pharmaceuticals. Installation requires no tools and the unit is sold as a single pack.

Households Needing Certified Contaminant Reduction

This filter suits owners of compatible refrigerators who want NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 401 certified performance without buying the original brand cartridge. It retains beneficial minerals while targeting a broad range of impurities. Buyers whose refrigerator uses a different part number or who require a multi-pack should look at other options. The product is not a universal fit for all fridge brands or filter housings.

NSF/ANSI 42, 53 & 401 Certification

The decisive specification is the triple certification to NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53 and 401, which confirms reduction of aesthetic, health-effect and emerging contaminants including pharmaceuticals. This certification governs whether the filter meets the water-quality requirements for your household. Verify that your refrigerator accepts the UKF7003, UKF7001, EDR7D1 or Filter 7 form factor before purchasing.
