Compatible Refrigerator Filter Pack

The Swift Green SGF-M9 Rx two-pack fits refrigerators that use part numbers UKF8001, EDR4RXD1, FILTER 4, EFF-6007A, 46-9006 and CLCH101. Each cartridge uses a carbon-block membrane rated at .5 micron and meets NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 401 standards for reduction of VOCs, pharmaceuticals, chlorine taste and odour, lead, cysts and mercury. The filters are manufactured in the USA from BPA-free, lead-free and arsenic-free coconut-shell carbon.

Check Your Refrigerator Model

Before ordering, verify that your appliance lists one of the compatible part numbers above; the filter will not install in models that require a different cartridge design. Confirm the available space matches the cartridge dimensions of 10.63 by 4.26 by 2.13 centimetres and that the system can operate at the rated .5 GPM flow rate. No tools are needed for replacement, but the housing must be accessible for a quarter-turn or push-button release.

Installation and Service Life

Insert the cartridge into the existing filter housing, rotate or press until it locks, then flush several litres of water to clear carbon fines. Each filter has a service life of three to six months depending on usage and water quality, so the twin pack covers up to a full year of filtration. The coconut-shell media retains beneficial minerals while reducing contaminants, and the used cartridges can be recycled to keep plastic out of landfill.
