SmartTouch 45-Sheet 3-Hole Punch

The Swingline 74136 SmartTouch punch creates three 9/32" holes in up to 45 sheets per press. Its low-force mechanism reduces required effort by 50 percent compared to standard punches. A built-in paper edge guide helps keep stacks aligned for consistent results. Durable metal construction supports heavy daily use in busy offices.

Upgrade from standard manual punches

This model replaces basic punches that demand high hand force and lack chip management. The jump is worth it when you regularly process large stacks and want less strain per punch. The handle locks down with a button for compact storage when not in use. A perforated base lets you see when the pull-out chip tray needs emptying.

Suits high-volume office staff

Ideal for administrators, teachers, or mailroom workers who punch multiple large sets each day and value reduced hand fatigue. The fixed three-hole pattern suits standard binders only. Buyers who need adjustable hole spacing or punching capacities beyond 45 sheets should look at a different class of machine.
