USB 2.0 to TTL serial converter with CP2102 chipset, 300 bps to 1.5 Mbps baud rates, 6-pin header for 3.3 V, 5 V, TXD, RXD, RST and GND, plus jumper wires included
The CP2102 module bridges a standard USB 2.0 type A male port to a 6-pin TTL header providing 3.3 V, RST, TXD, RXD, GND and 5 V. It targets developers and hobbyists who need to program or debug microcontrollers, routers or embedded boards directly from a laptop or desktop. Jumper wires are included for quick breadboard connections.
The link runs at USB 2.0 full-speed 12 Mbps while the UART supports baud rates from 300 bps to 1.5 Mbps with a 640 byte transmit buffer. Hardware or X-On/X-Off handshaking is available and the chip operates from -40 to +85 °C. Legacy operating systems down to Windows 98 SE and Mac OS 9 are supported alongside Linux 2.40.
Builders who previously wired a raw chip on perfboard gain a rugged USB plug, labelled pins and supplied jumper wires in one assembly. The jump is worth it when you want reliable enumeration across Windows, macOS and Linux without soldering a custom PCB or hunting for separate cables.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The board provides a 6-pin TTL connector carrying 3.3V, RST, TXD, RXD, GND and 5V; use the pins your target MCU requires.
It is the maximum asynchronous serial speed the CP2102 can sustain; most MCU bootloaders run well below that, so the limit rarely bottlenecks flashing.
USB 2.0 full-speed caps the bus at 12 Mbps, but the UART itself tops out at 1.5 Mbps, so the serial link is the real bottleneck.
