Headset identity

The syndesmos CM7000 is a wired gaming headset with 50 mm drivers and 7.1 surround sound. It connects through a 3.5 mm jack and weighs 9.52 grams. The orange finish and dynamic RGB lighting on the ear cups add visual flair for players who want a coordinated look across PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Switch.

Compatibility check

Verify that your controller or system provides a standard 3.5 mm audio port for the headset connection. The 6.9 metre cable length should reach your seating position without strain. The microphone sensitivity is rated at -40 decibels and the headphone impedance is 32 ohm, so confirm your device can drive that load. No separate power or software installation is required for basic stereo operation.

Build integration

The oval ear cups sit on the head without needing extra mounting hardware. The inline control includes a one-click mute button for quick microphone silencing during play. Dynamic RGB lighting draws power from the host device through the 3.5 mm connection, freeing you from additional USB ports or batteries. The 20 KHz frequency response covers the audible range for game audio and chat.

Questions about this item

Does the CM7000 headset include a USB adapter for 7.1 surround sound on PC, or is the 3.5 mm jack the only connection?

The headset connects via a single 3.5 mm jack with a 6.9 ft cable. The 7.1 surround sound is processed through the console or PC audio settings; no separate USB adapter is included in the box.

The CM7000 lists 50 mm drivers and 32 ohm impedance — how do those specs translate to daily gaming use?

The 50 mm drivers deliver a 20 KHz frequency response for clear highs, while the 32 ohm impedance allows the headset to reach loud volumes directly from a controller or motherboard without needing an external amplifier.

What does the -40 dB microphone sensitivity mean for in-game chat clarity on Xbox Series X or PS5?

The -40 dB sensitivity captures voice at a standard level for boom microphones. The omni-directional capsule reduces ambient noise by up to 40%, and a one-click mute button on the ear cup lets you silence the mic instantly during play.
