Wired 7.1 Gaming Headset for Multi-Platform Play

The CM7002 connects via a 3.5 mm jack and works with PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. Older Xbox One controllers need a separate adapter. A USB plug powers the RGB lighting only while audio and microphone signals run through the analogue connector.

Analogue Connection Limits Surround Implementation

The 3.5 mm interface carries stereo signals, so the 7.1 surround effect is created by the headset's internal processing rather than a discrete multi-channel feed. In-line volume control and a one-touch mute switch let you adjust levels without opening software menus during play.

50 mm Drivers Define the Audio Character

Dynamic drivers measuring 50 millimetres produce a frequency response up to 20 KHz at 32 ohm impedance. Oval protein-leather cushions and an adjustable headband distribute the 12.34-ounce weight for extended sessions. The cord spans 6.9 units for desk freedom.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 3.5 mm jack model or the USB model?

This headset uses a 3.5 mm jack for all audio and microphone signals; the USB plug only powers the RGB lighting.

What does the 7.1 surround sound actually give me in-game?

The 7.1 virtual surround processes stereo output from the game to help you locate footsteps and directional cues more accurately.

How does the 3.5 mm connection limit the headset on PC?

On PCs with separate headphone and microphone ports you must use the included splitter cable; the single 3.5 mm plug carries both channels.
