5MP AI Turret Camera

The Synology TC510 delivers 5MP resolution at 2880x1620 pixels and 30 frames per second for detailed indoor or outdoor surveillance. It carries IP67 weather protection and IK10 vandal resistance for exposed mounting locations. Power-over-Ethernet simplifies cabling by carrying both data and power on a single line. The turret form factor allows flexible angle adjustment on walls or ceilings.

Suited for monitored entrances and open areas

This camera fits sites that need intelligent event analytics such as audio detection, tampering alerts and precise motion detection without a separate analytics server. Night-time coverage reaches 98.4 feet (30 m) via auto-switching infrared-cut filter. Buyers who require local recording only on a MicroSD card formatted as exFAT are supported, but those needing continuous multi-camera storage without a Synology NAS should consider other solutions.

Straightforward PoE installation

Connect the camera to a PoE switch or injector, then adopt it in the Synology Surveillance Station interface for configuration. The rotatable turret base lets installers aim the lens after the cable is terminated. Common issues include insufficient PoE budget on the switch port and MicroSD cards that are not formatted to exFAT before insertion, which prevents local recording from starting.

Questions about this item

The camera receives power and data through a single Ethernet cable, so a PoE source such as a switch or injector is required.

Can I keep my existing Synology NAS and add this 5 MP camera to it?

Yes, the TC510 integrates directly with Synology NAS devices for centralised recording and management through Surveillance Station.

How can I verify the 2880 × 1620 @ 30 FPS stream is active after installation?

Open the live view in Surveillance Station or the Synology Surveillance mobile app and confirm the resolution and frame-rate shown in the stream information panel.
