The SYSONIC ESY252 converts analog audio from a 3.5mm headphone jack into a digital Toslink signal for soundbars or receivers that lack an auxiliary input. It supports PCM and LPCM 2.0 stereo at a 48KHz sample rate and does not decode Dolby Digital, DTS 5.1 or AC3 formats.

Integrated cable design reduces clutter

A 1.2m 3.5mm male cable is permanently attached to the compact aluminum converter box, and a 1m optical cable is included for the output side. Total reach is 2.2m (7.2ft) with no separate 3.5mm cord required. The unit draws power from an external DC 5V 1A adapter (not included) for stable transmission.
