12U Enclosed Cabinet for Home Labs

This 12U rack enclosure houses 19-inch networking, NAS, AV and compact IT gear in a lockable steel frame. The 35-inch overall depth provides 31 inches of usable mounting depth for deeper devices and cable routing. Integrated cooling and power accessories arrive ready for immediate deployment.

31-Inch Usable Depth Sets Device Limits

Equipment deeper than 31 inches will not fit between the front and rear rails. The single included fan moves 440 m3/h, so high-density or high-wattage loads may need supplementary airflow. The 8-way PDU supplies eight outlets only; larger installations require additional power distribution.

Steel Frame With Glass Door and Lockable Panels

The black steel construction supports 180 lbs of equipment weight. A glass front door with perforated metal frame combines visibility with protection, while removable lockable side and rear panels secure access. Heavy-duty casters with brakes and leveling feet allow repositioning or permanent placement on uneven floors.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12U height or a taller cabinet for my 19-inch gear?

The 12U enclosure provides 12 rack units of vertical space, which suits compact home-lab stacks of routers, switches and NAS units.

What does the 440 m3/h fan rating deliver inside a closed cabinet?

That airflow rating moves up to 440 cubic metres of air per hour through the enclosure, helping keep stacked 19-inch devices cool when the glass front door is locked.

How does the integrated 8-way PDU limit what I can plug in?

The built-in PDU supplies eight outlets, so you can power up to eight rackmount devices directly from the cabinet without extra power strips.
