Questions about this item

Should I pick a 12U or a smaller rack for my patch panels?

The 12U height gives you space for twelve 19" rack units, which suits multiple patch panels and shallow switches in one cabinet.

What does the 200 lbs capacity mean when the rack is on the wall?

It means the mounted enclosure can safely hold up to 200 pounds of 19" equipment that is no deeper than 13 inches.

How does the 13 inch depth limit what I can install?

Only devices 13 inches deep or less will fit, so standard patch panels and shallow switches work but deeper servers will not.
