Tamron 35-100mm f/2.8 Sony E Lens

This Tamron A058 zoom lens covers 35-100mm with a constant f/2.8 aperture for Sony E-mount cameras. It uses a VXD linear motor for fast autofocus and an optical design of 15 elements in 13 groups. The bundle adds a 67mm filter kit, cleaning accessories and a flower-shaped hood.

Photographers Wanting Constant f/2.8 Portability

The constant f/2.8 aperture suits portrait and event shooters who need shallow depth of field and low-light capability at 85mm and 100mm. The 565g weight and 119.2mm length help travel and all-day use. Buyers who need reach beyond 100mm or a wider angle than 35mm should look at other focal ranges.

Constant f/2.8 Aperture Through Zoom Range

The single specification that decides fit is the fixed f/2.8 maximum aperture across the entire 35-100mm range. It delivers consistent exposure and background blur at every focal length without the variable aperture found on many zooms. If your work demands that constant brightness, this lens matches the requirement.
