Purpose-built masking tape

Tape Logic 2400 masking tape is a general-purpose paper tape sold in a 12-roll pack. Each roll is 2 inches wide and 60 yards long with a 5.6 mil thickness. The natural-coloured adhesive suits painting, labelling and light bundling tasks in workshops, offices or classrooms.

Who it suits and who it does not

The 12-roll quantity fits teams that use tape daily and want a single bulk purchase. Buyers who need only one or two rolls for a single project will find the pack excessive. Users who require heat-resistant, UV-stable or residue-free removal for automotive or archival work should look at specialty-grade tapes instead.

Deciding specification

The 5.6 mil thickness determines how the tape handles curves, edge bleed and tear resistance. Thinner tapes conform tighter but may tear; thicker tapes mask heavier textures but can bridge gaps. Match the mil rating to the surface profile and paint system you are using.

Questions about this item

Will the 2-inch width of the 2400 tape work with the dispenser I already use for masking tape?

The 2400 masking tape is 2 inches wide, so it fits any dispenser that accepts a 2-inch roll.

How can I confirm the tape thickness is the 5.6 mil specified for the 2400 series?

The product label identifies the tape as 5.6 mil; you can also measure a single layer with a caliper or micrometer to verify.

Does the 12-pack of 2400 tape include a dispenser or cutter, or do I need to buy one separately?

The pack contains twelve 60-yard rolls of 2400 masking tape only; no dispenser or cutter is included.
