Flatback Tape 5300 for Sealing

Tape Logic #5300 flatback tape comes in a six-pack of kraft rolls each measuring 4 inches wide by 60 yards long. The rolls are designed for general packaging and sealing tasks in office, warehouse or shipping environments. The neutral kraft colour suits labelling and colour-coding systems.

Consistent Adhesion in Normal Use

The flatback paper backing resists curling and tears cleanly by hand without a dispenser. Adhesive performance stays stable across typical indoor temperatures and humidity levels found in packing stations. No special storage conditions are required beyond keeping the rolls dry.

Six-Roll Pack Simplifies Stocking

The six-roll pack provides a ready supply for multiple workstations or high-volume periods. Uniform roll length means each replacement lasts the same amount of time, reducing unexpected changeovers. No additional tools or software are included with the tape.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the 4-inch wide flatback tape without it wrinkling?

Unroll the tape slowly, keep tension even across the full 4-inch width, and press from the centre outward with a roller or firm hand to avoid trapped air bubbles.

Will the adhesive on these six rolls dry out or lose tack over time?

Store the unopened rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; the rubber-based adhesive remains stable for years if the boxes stay sealed until needed.

At what temperature does the kraft backing start to soften during continuous sealing?

The paper backing begins to lose rigidity above roughly 60 °C, so avoid sustained heat near that level when sealing cartons on hot production lines.
