Descriptive Labels for Sensitive Equipment

Tape Logic DL1460 labels identify delicate instruments with clear "Delicate Instruments - HWC" text. The red, white and black colour scheme ensures high visibility on cases, crates or shelves. Each label measures three by five inches for easy reading at a distance. They suit laboratories, workshops and shipping departments that handle fragile items.

Simple Application and Clean Removal

The pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds firmly to cardboard, plastic or metal surfaces without special tools. Labels peel from the liner quickly, reducing handling time during packing. No residue is left when the label is removed after transit or storage. The material resists smudging from oils or moisture in normal indoor environments.

Replaces Handwritten Markings and Generic Stickers

Pre-printed legends eliminate inconsistent handwriting that can be misread by carriers or receivers. Standardised wording supports compliance with internal handling procedures and external shipping regulations. The jump is worthwhile when teams process multiple fragile shipments per week and need repeatable, legible identification. Orders of seventy-five dollars or more ship free from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the Tape Logic DL1460 label without it peeling off delicate equipment?

Clean the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely before pressing the label firmly from the centre outward to remove air bubbles; the step most people skip is the full drying time, which lets the adhesive bond securely to sensitive finishes.

When will the red, white and black print on the Delicate Instruments HWC label need replacing?

Replace the label once the coloured text fades or the adhesive loses grip after repeated handling or cleaning cycles; there is no fixed schedule, so inspect it during routine equipment checks and swap it out the moment legibility drops.

What is the first limitation I will hit when using these labels continuously on handled instruments?

The adhesive is the limiting factor — frequent wiping, solvent exposure or temperature swings will degrade its hold before the face stock tears, so expect to replace labels more often in high-touch or clean-room environments.
