12 ft x 25 ft Super Heavy Duty Tarp

This polyethylene tarp measures 12 ft by 25 ft and weighs 8.0 oz per square yard. It is built for continuous indoor or outdoor use where strong, long-lasting protection is required. The 16 mil thickness and 16x16 weave count suit demanding covering tasks.

Waterproof, UV resistant, reinforced corners

The brown polyethylene laminate on both sides is waterproof and resists acid, tearing and UV exposure. Reinforced corners and hem add strength at stress points. The material stays flexible even in arctic-like conditions for year-round reliability.

Rustproof aluminum grommets every 18 inches

Rustproof aluminum grommets are spaced approximately every 18 inches and at the reinforced corners. They provide many convenient tie-down options for securing loads or creating shelters. The finished size measures close to or exactly the stated dimensions.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 12 ft x 25 ft tarp and what step is often missed?

Thread rope or bungees through the rustproof aluminum grommets spaced every 18 inches and at the reinforced corners; the step people miss is tensioning all points evenly so wind cannot flap the 16 mil polyethylene loose.

What maintenance or replacement will this tarp need later?

Inspect the 16x16 weave and grommet edges each season; replace the tarp when UV exposure makes the brown polyethylene brittle or when tears exceed a few inches despite the tear‑resistant laminate.

What limit appears first under sustained outdoor use?

The 8.0 oz per square yard polyethylene laminate degrades from constant UV before the 16 mil thickness or reinforced hem fails, so plan on a finite service life in direct sun.
