Medium-duty polyethylene tarp

This forest green tarp measures 14 by 18 feet and weighs 4.5 ounces per square yard. It is built from laminated polyethylene with a 10 by 10 weave count and a thickness of 9 to 10 mil. Rustproof aluminium grommets are placed every 36 inches and at each corner for secure tie-down.

Cut-size dimensions reduce final coverage

The listed measurements are taken before hemming and seaming. The finished tarp will be approximately six inches or three to five percent shorter on each side. Buyers must allow for this reduction when calculating the exact coverage area needed for a project.

Check grommet spacing and material compatibility

Verify that the 36-inch grommet interval matches the anchor points on your frame or structure. Confirm that polyethylene sheeting is suitable for the intended exposure, especially where prolonged UV, chemical contact or abrasion are expected.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 14 x 18 ft cut size or a different dimension for my project?

The 14 x 18 ft cut size is the only dimension offered for this tarp; finished measurements will be roughly 6 inches or 3-5% shorter on each side after hemming.

What does the 4.5 oz weight mean once the tarp is on site?

At 4.5 ounces per square yard the fabric is light enough to carry and spread by one person yet tough enough to resist tearing in wind and rain.

How does the 10 x 10 weave count cap performance in practice?

The 10 x 10 weave gives a medium-duty barrier that blocks water, UV, mildew and acid while staying flexible in cold weather.
