Heavy-Duty Poly Tarp 11-12 Mil

This heavy-duty white polyethylene tarp measures 6 by 20 feet with a fabric weight of 6 oz per square yard. It is designed for users who need reliable waterproof coverage for vehicles, firewood or outdoor equipment. The material resists mildew, acid and tearing in direct sunlight, rain or snow.

Translucent UV-Treated Sheeting

The white laminate on both sides allows light to pass through while blocking the elements, making it suitable for canopy tops or temporary shelters. UV treatment extends the service life under constant exposure. Buyers who need completely opaque blackout coverage should choose a different material.

Rustproof Grommets Every 18 Inches

Aluminium grommets are spaced approximately 18 inches apart along the perimeter and reinforced at each corner for secure tie-down points. The cut size runs 6 inches or 3-5% shorter than the nominal dimensions, so plan the coverage area accordingly.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 11 Mil and 12 Mil thickness options?

The tarp is manufactured within an 11-12 Mil range; both ends meet the same heavy-duty 6 oz per square yard specification, so either thickness will perform identically for waterproofing and tear resistance.

What does the 6 oz per square yard fabric weight mean for everyday durability?

It indicates a heavy-duty polyethylene weave that resists tearing, mildew and acid damage while staying flexible enough to fold and secure around vehicles, firewood or canopy frames.

How far apart are the grommets and what load can they handle?

Rustproof aluminum grommets sit roughly every 18 inches along the edges and in each corner, giving multiple tie-down points that distribute wind and rain loads evenly across the tarp.
