Five-Pack PET Sheets

This set contains five transparent PET sheets, each measuring 24 by 36 inches and 0.04 inches thick. The panels are made from premium PET material and weigh 0.74 kg per sheet. They arrive new with protective films on both sides that must be removed before use.

Hobbyists and Display Builders

The sheets suit crafters, sign makers and anyone replacing picture-frame glass who values high clarity and impact resistance. Over 90 percent light transmission supports display signs and high-end projects. Buyers who need UV-stabilised outdoor glazing, heat-formable acrylic or rigid polycarbonate should look at other materials.

Simple Cutting and Handling

Installation is straightforward: peel the protective films, then cut the flexible 1 mm panels with a utility knife or scissors to the required shape. The light weight eases transport and positioning. The most common issue is forgetting to remove both films, which leaves a hazy surface that reduces the stated clarity.

Questions about this item

What tools do I need to cut the 24 x 36 inch PET sheets to size?

A sharp utility knife and a straight edge are sufficient; score the 1 mm sheet several times then snap it cleanly along the line.

Can I use these 0.04 inch panels as a direct drop-in replacement for standard picture-frame glass?

Yes, they match common 24 x 36 inch frame dimensions, weigh only 0.74 kg each and transmit over 90 % light, so they fit and perform like glass without the shatter risk.

How do I verify the sheets are giving the advertised clarity once installed?

Remove the protective film from both faces, then view a printed page through the panel — text should appear crisp and colour-neutral with no haze or distortion.
