12U 19-inch rack for compact spaces

This 12U wall-mount enclosure fits standard 19-inch networking gear and supports up to 110 lbs on its welded cold-rolled steel frame. It is built for small offices or home labs that need secure equipment housing without a full-size cabinet footprint. The compact 17.72-inch depth suits shallow switches, patch panels and lightweight servers.

Glass door, fans, removable sides

A lockable tempered glass front door provides visibility and physical security while built-in fans and flow-through ventilation move heat away from active gear. Removable side panels with their own locks open the interior for cable routing and device staging, then close to maintain airflow integrity and access control.

Wall mounting and cable access

The unit mounts to a solid wall using the integrated brackets; ensure the structure can carry the combined weight of cabinet and installed equipment. Cable entry points are pre-cut, so plan patch-panel placement before hanging the rack to avoid rework. Side-panel removal requires clearance on at least one flank.

Questions about this item

How are the built-in cooling fans accessed for cleaning or replacement?

The fans are mounted in the cabinet frame and can be reached by removing the side panels, which detach using their security locks for tool-free access.

Which component reaches its rated limit first when the rack is fully loaded?

The welded steel frame is rated for 110 lbs total, so the weight capacity will be reached before the 12U vertical mounting space is filled.

How much heat and noise do the integrated fans produce during continuous operation?

Flow-through ventilation and the built-in fans move air across the 17.72-inch depth to keep equipment cool, with noise limited to the low-speed fan motors.
