12U Open Frame Rack for 19in Gear

This 12U open frame rack accepts standard 19in network, server, AV and studio equipment. The two post design suits home offices, small studios and desktop deployments where a full cabinet is impractical. It ships with cage nuts and screws so mounting can begin immediately. The unit stands free on a desk, table or floor.

360 Degree Access and 50kg Load Limit

The 360 degree open frame gives unrestricted access to every side of installed hardware for cabling and maintenance. U heights are clearly marked to simplify alignment during installation. Cold rolled steel construction supports up to 50kg (110.2lb) of equipment, setting a hard ceiling for total mounted weight. Exceeding that limit risks structural failure.

Cold Rolled Steel Build with Included Hardware

High quality cold rolled steel provides a rigid frame that resists flex under load. The open layout promotes natural airflow around devices without forced cooling. Included cage nuts and screws match standard square hole rails, removing the need to source mounting hardware separately. The design is not suited for environments that require lockable enclosures or dust filtration.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12U or a different height for my 19in gear?

The rack provides 12U of vertical space; choose it when your combined equipment height fits within those 12 rack units.

What does the 50kg load rating mean once I mount servers inside?

The cold-rolled steel frame is tested to hold up to 50kg (110.2lb) of evenly distributed equipment without bending.

How does the 360-degree open frame affect cable routing and airflow?

The fully open 360-degree design gives unrestricted access from every side, so cables run straight in and air moves freely through the rack.
