  • 15U capacity fits standard 19-inch servers
  • wall-mount or free-standing installation options
  • lockable glass door secures equipment
  • two built-in fans improve airflow
  • caster wheels add mobility for repositioning

15U Wall-Mount Server Cabinet

The TAURKENAM 15U enclosure is built from cold-rolled steel with a black powder coating and supports up to 130 lbs of 19-inch IT equipment. It suits installers who need a secure, fixed location for network switches, servers or A/V gear in offices or server rooms.

Upgrades From Open-Frame Racks

Moving from an open rack to this lockable cabinet adds physical security, integrated cooling and the option to wall-mount or roll the unit on included casters. The jump is worth it when equipment must be protected from unauthorised access or when floor space is limited but mobility is still required.

Limits of 23.6-Inch Depth

A usable depth of 23.6 inches (600 mm) fits many standard switches and short servers but will not accommodate deeper chassis or high-density blade systems. Buyers planning longer servers should verify chassis dimensions before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much clear wall space is needed to mount the 23.63-inch-wide cabinet?

The cabinet is 23.63 inches wide and 23.63 inches deep, so the wall must accommodate at least that footprint plus clearance for the locking glass door swing and removable side panels.

Which step is most often missed when switching the door hinge using the L-shaped spring pin?

The L-shaped spring pin lets you reverse the door direction, but the pins must be fully seated in both the top and bottom hinge brackets before tightening, otherwise the door will not latch securely.

How are the two built-in fans powered for long-term operation?

The two included fans run from a standard mains lead that plugs into a wall outlet or PDU; they are not powered from the rack equipment itself, so a nearby socket is required.
