16U Open Frame Rack

The TAURKENAM 16U open frame rack provides 19-inch mounting for servers and AV gear in a mobile four-post steel frame. Two ventilated shelves and four casters ship with the unit for immediate deployment. Load capacity reaches 260lbs with rear shelf supports adding rigidity. Assembly hardware, a drilling template and an online video guide are included.

Suits mobile multi-device setups

This rack fits warehouses, retail floors, classrooms and offices where equipment must be relocated or expanded. Stacking compatibility allows vertical growth without new footprint. Buyers needing enclosed sides, lockable doors or integrated cooling should consider a cabinet instead. The open design offers no acoustic isolation for noise-sensitive areas.

260lb load capacity

The single figure that determines fit is the 260lb total weight rating across the frame and shelves. Exceeding this limit risks structural failure and voids safe operation. Verify the combined weight of all mounted devices before installation. No higher capacity option exists in this model line.

Questions about this item

Does the rack come with shelves and mounting hardware, or do I need to buy them separately?

The package includes the 16U open frame, two ventilated shelves, four shelf stops, four casters, four velcro straps and a full set of equipment mounting screws.

Should I choose a different height or weight capacity for heavier equipment?

This model provides 16U of vertical space and a 260lb load limit; select a taller or higher-rated rack only if your gear exceeds those figures.

Will a standard 19-inch server fit and stay secure on the included shelves?

Yes, the frame follows the 19-inch standard and the anti-slip shelf stops lock devices in place once mounted.
