  • M6 screws and cage nuts included for immediate mounting
  • Installs in minutes with supplied hardware

Universal 19-inch rack shelf

The 2U vented cantilever shelf fits any standard 19-inch server rack, IT cabinet, router enclosure or AV rack. It is built from 2.0 mm SPCC cold-rolled steel and supports equipment narrower than 19 inches. Mounting hardware including M6 screws and cage nuts is supplied in the box.

Vented cantilever limits

The open cantilever design relies on the front posts only, so depth is fixed at 18 inches (45 cm) and load capacity suits typical network devices rather than heavy servers. Ventilation slots improve airflow but do not replace forced cooling for high-density gear. Installation requires access to both front mounting rails.

Replaces fixed-depth trays

This shelf upgrades from non-vented or deeper fixed trays when rack space is tight and passive cooling is preferred. The jump is worth it for installs needing 2U height, 18-inch depth and tool-free hardware in one package. It is not for builders who need adjustable depth or rear-supported shelves.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 18 inch depth or the 45 cm depth for my 19 inch rack?

They are the same measurement; 18 inches equals 45 cm, so either label fits a standard 19 inch rack.

How much airflow does the vented design actually give once the shelf is loaded with equipment?

The perforated steel surface lets hot air rise through the shelf, reducing heat buildup around routers, switches or AV gear mounted on it.

What does the 2.0 mm steel thickness cap in terms of load capacity?

The 2.0 mm SPCC cold-rolled steel construction provides a rigid cantilever tray suitable for typical network devices under 19 inches wide.
