  • Universal 19" rack fit for standard server cabinets

  • Compact 1U height leaves maximum space for other equipment
  • Mounting hardware included for quick bracket-on-frame installation

Universal 19″ rack keyboard tray

This 1U sliding shelf mounts in standard 19″ network cabinets and enclosures. It provides a stable platform for a keyboard during rack-side administration. The tray pulls out smoothly on ball-bearing rails for quick access. A keyboard is not included.

8″ deep tray with 7.9″ usable depth

The internal surface measures 17.1″ wide by 7.9″ deep, accommodating most full-size keyboards. The shelf extends 6.89″ on its slides for two-post rack installations. Deeper keyboards or those with integrated wrist rests may not fit fully.

Passive steel construction runs silent

The all-metal frame with a reinforcing cross-bar eliminates wobble when extended. No fans or moving parts generate noise, and the unit draws no power. Heat dissipation is not a factor for this passive accessory.

Questions about this item

Will the 17.1-inch internal width fit a full-size keyboard alongside my existing 19-inch rack equipment?

The shelf mounts in standard 19-inch cabinets and provides 17.1 inches of internal width, which accommodates most full-size keyboards while occupying only 1U of rack space.

How can I confirm the sliding mechanism is operating correctly after installation?

Pull the tray out to the 6.89-inch extension limit; it should glide smoothly without lateral shake thanks to the horizontal stabiliser bar, then retract fully with even resistance.

Does the package include the keyboard and mounting screws, or must I source them separately?

Mounting hardware is included for attaching the side brackets to the rack frame; a keyboard is not included and must be purchased separately.
