  • Supports up to 30 lbs of equipment weight

1U Ventilated Cantilever Shelf for 19" Racks

This 1U shelf mounts in any standard 19-inch rack or cabinet. It holds networking gear, audio equipment or small servers that need open airflow. The cantilever design leaves the rear of the unit accessible for cabling. Builders who need a deeper platform or a fully enclosed tray will not be served by this model.

Reversible Lips and Included Mounting Hardware

The disassembled frame lets you orient the front and rear lips up or down to suit cable routing or space constraints. Assembly screws plus M6 screws and cage nuts are supplied, so no extra fasteners are required. Installers who prefer tool-less sliding rails or a fixed-depth shelf will find those features absent.

30 lb Weight Limit on a 12-Inch Deep Tray

The SPCC cold-rolled steel tray with powder-coated finish supports up to 30 lbs across its 12-inch depth. Ventilation holes across the surface promote passive cooling for the mounted devices. Anyone planning to load heavier appliances or needing a deeper surface must choose a different shelf.

Questions about this item

Does the powder-coated SPCC steel tray need any corrosion maintenance over time?

The powder-coated finish provides rust resistance; no routine corrosion maintenance is required under normal indoor conditions.

What load limit is reached first when the shelf is fully loaded for continuous operation?

The 30 lb maximum weight capacity is the limiting factor; exceeding it risks structural deformation.

Does the ventilated tray generate any noise or heat itself when equipment runs all day?

The passive steel tray has no moving parts, so it adds no noise or heat beyond what the mounted equipment produces.
