22U Wall-Mount Rack for Home and Office IT

This 22U wall-mount server rack provides secure, lockable storage for 19-inch network, AV and server equipment in home offices, small businesses or branch locations. The welded steel frame and included hardware let you mount patch panels, switches, servers and audio gear without a dedicated server room.

24-Inch Depth with Surge-Protected Power and Cooling

A 24-inch deep frame built from 1.5 mm rolled-steel rails and 1.0–1.2 mm shelves accommodates deeper hardware while dust-tight cable entries keep cabling tidy. The package includes an 8-outlet rack-mount power distribution unit with surge protection, two fixed shelves, a cooling fan and cage nuts for immediate installation.

Upgrade from Open Shelves or Smaller Cabinets

Moving from open rack shelves or a 12U or 15U cabinet adds lockable side panels, a secure door and integrated power distribution for cleaner cable management. The jump is worth it when equipment depth exceeds shallower enclosures or when physical security and surge protection become requirements.

Questions about this item

How deep is the 19-inch rack and what equipment depth does that limit?

The cabinet is 24 inches deep, so any 19-inch device must fit within that depth including cables and front doors.

What mounting hardware and wall structure are required for the 22U unit?

The welded steel frame weighs enough to need solid wood studs or concrete anchors; cage nuts and screws are included but lag bolts for the wall are not.

Which assembly step do installers most often skip on this wall-mount rack?

Many forget to level the cabinet before tightening the wall bolts, leaving the door misaligned and the fan vibration noisy.
