2K 4MP PTZ camera for large outdoor areas

This IP network camera captures 4MP video at 2560×1440 resolution and 20fps using a 2.8-12mm f/1.8 lens. The 4X optical zoom maintains clarity when magnifying distant subjects. Pan covers 350° and tilt reaches 90°, with eight preset patrol points for automated coverage of warehouses, driveways or parking lots.

Replaces fixed wide-angle cameras that lose detail

Optical zoom lets you read plates or faces up to 165ft away in darkness, while 6 IR LEDs and laser-assisted AI detection reduce false triggers from shadows or animals. The jump is worth it when a single fixed lens cannot cover both the overview and the detail zones you need to monitor.

Check Wi-Fi band support

The unit operates on 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi; verify your router broadcasts a compatible SSID. Outdoor mounting requires a weather-protected power source and an IP66-rated cable entry. Confirm the NVR or VMS you plan to use accepts H.264+ streams at 2560×1440.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware and cable entry space does the IP66-rated housing require?

The IP66 outdoor housing needs a wall or ceiling bracket with clearance for the 350° pan and 90° tilt range, plus a sealed cable gland for the power and network leads.

Which step is most often missed when pairing the camera to the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network?

Users frequently forget to disable band-steering on the router so the camera can lock onto the correct 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz SSID during initial setup.

How often should the six IR LEDs and the motorised pan-tilt mechanism be inspected or cleaned?

Check the six IR LED windows and the pan-tilt gears every six months; wipe the LEDs and verify smooth 350° pan and 90° tilt movement to maintain 165 ft night vision.
