Universal 19-Inch Rack Mount

This two-piece set of 1U cantilever shelves fits any standard 19-inch rack or cabinet. Each tray measures 19 inches wide, 9.8 inches deep and 1.78 inches high, providing a 25 cm mounting depth for IT, network or stereo equipment. The vented steel construction promotes airflow around installed devices.

Suited For Shallow Equipment

The shelves suit administrators who need to mount devices narrower than 19 inches in a fixed position. They are not intended for deep chassis that exceed the 9.8-inch tray depth, nor for sliding or adjustable-depth applications. Buyers requiring full-depth support or heavy-load ratings should consider alternative designs.

Simple Screw-In Installation

Each pack includes mounting screws and cage nuts, allowing installation in minutes with basic hand tools. The cantilever design relies on front rails only, so rear rail alignment is not required. Ensure the front rail threads match the supplied hardware; mismatched thread types are the most common cause of fitment issues.

Questions about this item

What rack width must I already have for these 19-inch shelves to mount?

They fit any standard 19-inch rack or cabinet, so the enclosure must provide 19-inch EIA hole spacing.

Will the 9.8-inch depth support a full-depth server I keep in the same rack?

The 9.8-inch cantilever depth is designed for shallow gear; a full-depth server needs its own rails or a deeper shelf.

How can I confirm the vented trays are moving enough air after install?

Check that equipment on the trays runs at normal temperatures and that you feel steady airflow through the perforations.
