4MP PoE Turret Camera for Outdoor Surveillance

This IP turret dome camera delivers 4 megapixel resolution for detailed facial and licence-plate capture. Power over Ethernet supplies both data and power through a single LAN cable, removing the need for a separate power run and reducing installation cost. It is built for outdoor mounting where a wide field of view is required.

IP66 Weatherproof Build with 2.8mm Fixed Lens

The enclosure meets IP66, protecting the internals from dust and heavy rain across a broad temperature range. A 2.8 mm fixed lens provides a 103° horizontal field of view, allowing one unit to cover a large area with fewer cameras. Audio capture is integrated for additional scene context.

H.265/H.264 Compression and NVR Compatibility

Dual H.265 and H.264 encoding reduces stored file sizes, letting existing hard drives retain footage longer. The camera works with PoE NVRs and third-party software such as iSpy, Blue Iris and Milestone. Buyers needing wireless connectivity or onboard storage slots should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What PoE standard does this camera use and what practical limit does it set?

The camera uses standard Power over Ethernet to deliver both data and power over a single LAN cable, removing the need for a separate power supply and reducing cabling cost.

What mounting clearance does the IP66 turret housing require?

The IP66-rated enclosure is built for outdoor wall or ceiling mounting and operates across a wide temperature range, so it needs only a flat surface and a single cable entry point.

How is the camera added to an NVR and which step do installers often miss?

Connect the camera to a PoE NVR port, then use the NVR's device search to add it; the step often missed is enabling the correct H.265 or H.264 stream profile before recording.
