Universal 4-Post Rail Kit

The TAURKENAM 4POSTRAIL kit mounts 1U, 2U and 3U devices in a standard four-post rack. Adjustable rails extend from 18.5 to 29 inches to match different cabinet depths. Sixteen M5 x 12 screws are supplied for securing the rails to each post. The assembly supports equipment weighing up to 231 pounds.

Installers needing front-and-rear support

This kit suits technicians who must secure hardware at both the front and rear of a four-post frame. It does not fit two-post racks or wall-mount cabinets that lack rear mounting posts. Buyers with equipment exceeding the stated weight limit or deeper than the maximum rail extension should look at alternative mounting solutions.

Rail depth range 18.5 to 29 inches

The adjustable length determines whether the rails reach the front and rear posts of a specific cabinet. Measure the distance between the post flanges before ordering; if the span falls outside the 18.5-to-29-inch window the kit cannot be installed.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the rail kit generate when equipment runs all day?

The rails are passive metal components with no moving parts, so they add no heat or noise to the rack.

What rack posts must I already have for the included M5 hardware to fit?

The kit includes 16 M5 x 12 screws, so the rack posts need M5 threaded holes or cage nuts to accept them.

Will the adjustable depth work with older 1U servers that are shorter than 18.5 inches?

The rails extend from 18.5 to 29 inches, so equipment shorter than the minimum depth cannot be mounted securely.
