4U 19-Inch Open Frame Rack

The TAURKENAM 4U 19 inch 2 post open frame server rack is built for desktop or floor use in home labs, offices, studios and small IT setups. It accepts standard 19 inch equipment and provides a compact, free-standing mounting solution for network, server, AV and recording gear.

Reinforced Beam for Stability

An extra horizontal beam on the posts increases torsional resistance and overall rigidity compared with basic open frames. The upgrade is worthwhile when the rack sits on a busy desk or floor where accidental bumps occur, or when the top surface must stay safe for people and pets.

2.0 mm Steel Under Continuous Load

The 2.0 mm cold-rolled steel frame with powder coat finish resists flex during long-term operation and repeated equipment changes. Clear U markings speed up initial installation and later reconfiguration, while the 360-degree open structure maintains unrestricted airflow around mounted devices at all times.

Questions about this item

What surface area does the 19 inch 2 post frame need to sit on a desk?

The compact 4U footprint is designed to rest on a desktop or floor corner without specific dimension requirements beyond a flat, stable surface.

Which step is commonly missed when assembling the included screws and cage nuts?

Align the cage nuts with the clear U markings on the 2.0 mm steel posts before tightening the assembly screws to ensure equipment sits level.

How should the powder coat finish on the reinforced beam be maintained over time?

Wipe the cold-rolled steel with a dry or slightly damp cloth; the powder coat resists scratches so no polishing or refinishing is required.
