4U Wall-Mount Rack for 19-inch Gear

This open-frame rack provides four rack units of space for shallow servers, switches and patch panels. It mounts directly to a wall or can sit flat on a surface, and the vertical under-table option adds placement flexibility for small offices or home labs.

Passive Cooling and Fixed Depth

The open design relies on natural airflow around the equipment, so there are no fans to power or noise to manage. Maximum mounting depth is 14 inches, which limits the chassis length of devices that can be installed.

Cold-Rolled Steel Frame with 110 lb Rating

The rack is built from cold-rolled steel with an electrostatic powder coat that resists rust and corrosion. It ships fully assembled and includes side-panel cable tie points plus mounting hardware, but the 110-pound capacity rules out heavier multi-node servers or dense storage arrays.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 14in deep 4U rack to a wall and what is the common mistake?

Use the supplied hardware to anchor the rack through its mounting holes into studs or masonry; the step often missed is verifying the wall can support the 110lb load plus equipment weight.

What maintenance or replacement will the rack need over time?

The cold-rolled steel frame with electrostatic powder coat requires no scheduled maintenance; only replace mounting screws or side-panel cable ties if they become damaged or corroded.

What limit appears first when the rack is fully loaded and running continuously?

The 110lb (50kg) weight capacity is the primary limit; exceeding it risks structural failure before any other constraint such as the 14in mounting depth or 19in EIA/ECA-310-E spacing becomes an issue.
