Outdoor 5MP PTZ Camera

The TAURKENAM 5MP network camera is built for homeowners who need continuous outdoor surveillance with automatic subject tracking. Its motorised head provides 355° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation to eliminate blind spots around the property.

IP66 Housing with Dual-Band WiFi

A sealed IP66-rated enclosure protects the electronics from rain and dust while a three-metre mains cord supplies uninterrupted power for 24/7 recording. Dual-band 2.4/5G WiFi lets installers choose wider 2.4 GHz coverage or faster 5 GHz throughput depending on router placement.

Floodlight Night Vision and Local Storage

Integrated floodlights extend colour night vision to 33 feet in total darkness without external lighting. Footage writes to a Micro SD card up to 128 GB with automatic overwrite or to optional cloud storage while built-in microphone and speaker handle two-way audio.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi cap the live-view bitrate in practice?

The camera uses 5 GHz for faster, less-interrupted transmission and 2.4 GHz for wider coverage and better wall penetration; actual bitrate depends on your router and signal quality.

What mounting hardware and clearances does the IP66 outdoor body need?

It supports ceiling or wall mounting with the included bracket; allow space for 355° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation and route the 3-metre power cord to a weather-protected outlet.

How is the camera installed, and which step do people get wrong?

Mount the bracket, connect the 3-metre plug-in cord for 24/7 power, add a Micro SD card up to 128 GB if you want local storage, then pair via the app; the common mistake is skipping the SD card insertion before closing the housing.
