  • Heavy-duty cold-rolled steel construction supports up to 40 pounds of equipment
  • Two rear cable cutouts keep cords organised and routing efficient
  • Mounts on 16-inch stud spacing with included M5 screws for quick setup
  • Three bottom edges provide stable cantilever support for rear equipment weight

6U Wall-Mount Rack for 19-Inch Gear

This 6U open-frame bracket holds shallow servers, switches and patch panels in a 14-inch deep footprint. It suits installers who need a compact wall-mounted solution for standard 19-inch equipment.

Installation and Stud Spacing

Rails attach to the wall bracket with supplied screws and the mounting holes align with 16-inch stud centres. Twenty-four M5 screws are included for securing devices to the rails. Builders whose walls lack 16-inch stud spacing or who need deeper equipment support will need a different mounting approach.

40 lb Capacity and 13.8-Inch Depth

The cold-rolled steel frame carries up to 40 pounds and the 13.8-inch depth accepts most shallow 19-inch hardware. Three bottom edges add rear support for cantilevered loads. Heavier or deeper chassis that exceed the weight limit or depth will not fit securely.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 6U rack is securely mounted after bolting it to 16-inch studs?

Confirm the bracket sits flush against the wall, all mounting screws are tight, and the three bottom edges fully support the rear of your equipment without wobble.

What hardware comes in the box and what must I supply for wall mounting?

The package includes the rack rails, bracket, and 24 M5 screws for equipment; you must provide lag bolts or anchors suitable for your 16-inch stud spacing.

Which depth should I choose if my switch is 13.8 inches deep?

This 14-inch deep model matches a 13.8-inch device, leaving a small clearance for cables through the two rear cutouts.
