8U Vertical Rack Rails for Network Gear

These rails mount patch panels, PDUs and similar telecom equipment in an 8U vertical orientation. Heavy-gauge steel construction provides a rigid mounting surface. Silk-screened rack-unit markings and pre-tapped 12-24 threads simplify alignment and fastening. The kit includes enough screw sets for every rack space.

Suited to Builders Using 12-24 Threaded Equipment

Installers who need a straightforward vertical rail pair with included hardware will find this kit convenient. It is not for buyers who require a different thread pattern or a horizontal mounting layout. It is also not for users who need adjustable depth rails or integrated cable-management features.

Pre-Tapped 12-24 Threading Across Full Length

The rails come pre-tapped with 12-24 threading along their entire length, allowing equipment to be secured in any rack unit. This single specification determines whether your devices can be mounted directly without extra nuts or adapters.

Questions about this item

What rack-mount equipment with 12-24 threaded holes do I need to already own to use these vertical rails?

The rails accept any standard rack-mount device that uses 12-24 threads, such as patch panels or PDUs, so you must already have equipment with matching mounting holes.

Will these 8U rails align with the rack-unit spacing on my existing cabinet?

Yes, silk-screened rack-unit markings and 12-24 pre-tapped threads match standard EIA spacing, so they line up with the U-grid on your current rack.

How can I confirm the rails are installed correctly once mounted?

Verify that each rack unit shows a silk-screened number, the 12-24 threads engage smoothly, and the included screw sets fasten your equipment securely in every U space.
