9U Open Frame Rack for 19in Gear

The TAURKENAM 9U open frame server rack is built from cold rolled steel with an electrostatic powder coat that resists rust and corrosion. Rear brackets reinforce the frame for a 110lb weight capacity. It accepts standard 19in IT, AV and data equipment in a compact 15.8in depth.

Wall or Floor Mount Replaces Bulky Cabinets

This rack mounts directly to a wall or sits on the floor, freeing the space a full-depth cabinet would occupy. The jump is worthwhile when you need secure, accessible mounting for patch panels, switches or small servers but lack room for an enclosed unit. EIA/ECA-310-E compliance ensures standard hole spacing.

Installers Needing Open Access and Dual Hole Types

The design suits technicians who want unobstructed access for cabling, inspection and quick hardware swaps. Both 12-24 threaded and square holes are provided, so mixed rail kits fit without adapters. Builders requiring lockable doors, deeper shelves or higher load ratings should consider enclosed alternatives.

Questions about this item

What wall spacing and hardware do I need to mount the 15.8in deep 9U rack?

The rack follows EIA/ECA-310-E spacing and includes mounting accessories; secure the rear brackets to structural studs or masonry using the supplied lag bolts and washers.

Which step do installers most often miss when fitting equipment into the 12-24 threaded and square holes?

They forget to use the included cage nuts in the square holes before threading screws, leaving equipment loose in the 19in wide bays.

What part of the black 9U open frame will need attention first over time?

The electrostatic powder coat on the cold-rolled steel resists rust, but inspect the 110lb-rated rear brackets and wall anchors periodically for any loosening.
