TAURKENAM DeskPi RackMate T1 8U 10 inch server rack 7.87 inch depth

Compact 10 inch rack for clusters

The TAURKENAM DeskPi RackMate T1 is an 8U open-frame cabinet built from aluminium alloy and translucent acrylic. It provides 14 inches of vertical mounting space within a footprint of 11 by 16 inches. The 10 inch width suits small offices, home labs and larger deployments that need dense, accessible equipment storage.

Steady airflow under continuous load

The open design lets ambient air move freely through the chassis without restrictive panels or filters. Components mounted in the 8U volume receive direct convection cooling during sustained operation. Translucent side panels keep dust ingress low while maintaining unrestricted flow paths for long-running cluster or home-assistant workloads.

Passive thermals with minimal noise

No fans or active cooling are integrated, so the cabinet adds zero acoustic output and draws no power of its own. The aluminium frame conducts heat away from mounted rails, while the acrylic sides allow visual monitoring of component status lights. Thermal performance depends entirely on the installed devices and room ambient conditions.
