Compact 50 Amp to 30 Amp Adapter

This TAURKENAM adapter connects a 50 Amp NEMA 14-50P male plug to a 30 Amp NEMA 14-30R female receptacle. It supports 120V and 240V operation at 30 Amp continuous current. The compact design suits camper, travel trailer, RV, generator, welder, dryer and EV charger connections. It is a new component listed in 2024.

Fits Between 50 Amp Source and 30 Amp Load

The 14-50P plug inserts into a 50 Amp outlet on a generator, pedestal or dryer circuit. The 14-30R receptacle accepts a 30 Amp cord from an RV, trailer or charger. No internal wiring changes are required. The adapter frees the user from installing a dedicated 30 Amp outlet when only a 50 Amp source is available.

Replaces Improvised Jumper Cords

Builders who previously used makeshift pigtails gain a UL-style moulded connector pair rated for 30 Amp service. The jump is worth it when a safe, code-compliant link between 50 Amp supply and 30 Amp equipment is needed. It does not increase the 30 Amp limit of the connected device.
