Purpose and audience

The TAURKENAM adapter converts IEEE 802.3at PoE+ power and Gigabit Ethernet data into a single USB-C 3.0 connection delivering up to 25 W. It targets installers deploying tablets such as iPad Pro 12.9, Surface Go or Galaxy Tab in point-of-sale, kiosk or wall-mounted scenarios where running separate power cables is impractical.

Integration requirements

The unit requires a compatible PoE+ switch or midspan injector to supply both power and data over one Ethernet cable. Its side-mounted ports and aluminium housing allow a tidy fit inside standard tablet enclosures or wall boxes. A supplied USB-C cable is secured by a clamp bracket, a screw-in connector hole and an extra corner screw for custom brackets.
