Tower design and wireless charging

The TAURKENAM power adapter tower combines a vertical charging station with a 15W magnet-connecting wireless charger on top. Phones that support magnetic alignment snap into place and stay secured while charging. Eight AC outlets and four USB ports are distributed across four vertical facets, keeping bulky plugs separated. A 6.5 ft retractable cord rolls into the body for tidy storage.

Power capacity and surge protection

The unit delivers a rated current of 13A and accepts dual voltages from 110V to 240V for worldwide use with suitable adapters. Four USB ports share a total output of 5V/3.4A, with each port capable of up to 2.4A. A 1050J surge protector guards connected devices against voltage spikes. The independent switch on each layer lets you cut power to unused outlets without unplugging.

Build integration and limitations

The compact tower footprint fits on desks, workbenches or garage shelves while the vertical layout frees horizontal space. Retractable cord management eliminates trailing cables. Magnetic wireless charging only works with phones that include the required alignment feature; devices without it must use the wired ports. No mounting hardware or fixed installation method is described in the specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the 15W magnetic wireless charger on the tower work with my older phone that lacks magnetic alignment?

The 15W wireless charger uses magnetic alignment, so your phone must support that feature to lock in place and charge; without it the phone will not stay positioned on the charger.

How can I verify the 1050J surge protector is active after I plug the tower in?

A surge-protection indicator light on the tower illuminates when the 1050J protection circuit is live; if the light is off, the surge protection has been sacrificed and the unit should be replaced.

Does the package include the 6.5 ft retractable cord and all 8 AC outlets ready to use, or must I buy a separate cable?

The 6.5 ft retractable extension cord is built into the tower body, and the 8 AC outlets plus 4 USB ports are integrated; no extra power cable or outlet modules are required.
