Wireless 4G LTE solar camera

The TAURKENAM XEGA S20 is a wireless surveillance camera that connects over 4G LTE networks instead of Wi-Fi. It includes a built-in SIM card with 300 MB of trial data and requires a monthly data plan for continued service. The unit has no SIM card slot and works only with the embedded SIM. It suits gardens, remote properties and construction sites where wired internet is unavailable.

IP66 weatherproof with 14400 mAh battery

An integrated 14400 mAh rechargeable battery powers the camera without mains cables. A solar panel provides continuous charging for long-term operation. The IP66-rated enclosure protects against rain and snow in outdoor installations. No figures for power draw or operating noise are supplied.

2K PTZ with 355° pan and 95° tilt

The camera records 2K resolution video and offers colour night vision up to 65 ft. Motorised pan covers 355° and tilt covers 95° for wide-area monitoring with 4× digital zoom. Smart PIR motion detection triggers alerts and two-way audio is supported. Buyers who need local storage recording or Wi-Fi connectivity should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the XEGA S20 and aim the solar panel so the 14400mAh battery stays charged?

Fix the camera bracket to a wall or pole with the supplied screws, then angle the solar panel toward the equator at roughly your latitude tilt; the panel must receive direct sun for several hours daily or the 14400mAh pack will drain.

What ongoing upkeep does the built-in SIM and 14400mAh battery require?

After the 300M trial data expires you must activate a monthly 4G plan on the embedded SIM — no slot exists for a replacement — and clean the solar panel glass every few months so the 14400mAh battery recharges fully.

At what point does the PTZ movement stop during a long tracking session?

The pan stops at 355° and tilt at 95°, so a full 360° circle or vertical look straight down is not possible; the motors hit those hard limits first.
