Compact dual-pack hygrometer thermometer

This Taylor two-pack supplies two 1.7-inch digital hygrometer thermometers for simultaneous monitoring in separate rooms or enclosures. Each unit displays temperature and relative humidity on a clear LCD and includes a one-touch °F/°C switch. The devices are ready to use with included LR44 batteries and double-sided tape for quick placement.

Measurement range and update cadence

The sensors cover 32 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and 10 to 99 percent relative humidity with a stated accuracy of ±1 °C or ±2 °F for temperature and ±5 % RH for humidity. Readings refresh every 10 seconds through 24 vents, giving near real-time data for terrariums, humidors, greenhouses or living spaces. Allow one to two hours after installation for the sensor to acclimatise before relying on the values.

Replaces single analogue gauges

Builders upgrading from a single analogue dial gain dual-location coverage, faster refresh and a digital display that eliminates parallax error. The jump is worthwhile when you need concurrent temperature and humidity tracking in two zones such as a reptile habitat and a storage cabinet. It does not suit users who require data logging, wireless alerts or a probe for substrate temperature.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.7in display stay readable next to my older analog hygrometer?

The LED digital display is clear and easy to read, and updates every 10 seconds through 24 vents so you can compare it directly with your analog gauge.

How do I confirm each unit is measuring within the stated ±1°C/2°F accuracy after I put batteries in?

Let each unit sit for 1 to 2 hours to acclimatise, then check that the reading falls within the 32 to 158°F range and matches a known reference within the ±1°C/2°F tolerance.

What comes in the 2 pack and what must I buy separately?

The box includes two digital thermometer hygrometers, two double-sided tapes and two spare LR44 button cells; no extra items are required for operation.
