Smart WiFi sensor for indoor climate

The Taylor TH11Y is a wireless thermometer and hygrometer that connects to 2.4 GHz WiFi without a separate hub. It lets you monitor temperature and humidity remotely through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice queries. The unit includes a lanyard loop and adhesive sticker for flexible placement.

Accuracy of ±1 °C and ±5 % RH

Temperature is measured from -20 °C to 60 °C with an accuracy of ±1 °C, while humidity covers 0 % to 100 % RH with an accuracy of ±5 % RH. These tolerances decide whether the sensor meets the precision needed for a specific room, greenhouse or wine cellar application. The device stores history and exports data through the app.

Suits users wanting remote alerts and automation

Buyers who want push alerts when conditions drift outside set limits and who want to trigger other Tuya devices such as fans or smart plugs will find the feature set useful. Those needing 5 GHz WiFi support, a built-in display or Bluetooth-only operation should look at a different model.

Questions about this item

How does the ±1 °C temperature accuracy and ±5 % RH humidity accuracy translate to day-to-day monitoring in a living space?

Readings stay within one degree Celsius of the true temperature and within five percent relative humidity, which is precise enough to spot comfort issues, protect wine or instruments, and trigger alerts before conditions drift too far.

What Wi-Fi standard does the sensor use and what does that limit in practice?

It connects only to 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n networks, so it will not join 5 GHz bands and must be within range of a compatible router or access point.

What are the physical dimensions and mounting options for the sensor?

The unit measures 71 mm × 25 mm × 20 mm and includes a lanyard loop and an adhesive sticker for wall or surface mounting.
