Compact Indoor Climate Monitor

The Taylor temp002 is a digital hygrometer thermometer built for home use. It tracks temperature from -4°F to 158°F and humidity from 10% to 99% RH with a 15-second refresh rate. A 3.08-inch LCD shows bold digits and three colour-coded comfort icons for instant readability.

Simple Setup With Two Mounting Choices

The unit arrives with a pre-installed 3V battery so it works straight out of the box. Choose the built-in stand for tabletops or the adhesive pad for wall mounting; no tools are required. The only common snag is forgetting to peel the adhesive liner before pressing the device to the wall.

Ideal For Quick Room Checks, Not Data Logging

This monitor suits anyone who wants at-a-glance temperature and humidity feedback in bedrooms, nurseries or kitchens. It lacks connectivity, memory storage or alert outputs, so buyers who need long-term trend recording or remote notifications should look at a different class of device.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the thermometer is reading correctly after I set it up?

The display updates every 15 seconds. If the temperature changes by at least 0.2°F or humidity shifts by 1%RH within that interval, the new values will appear, showing the sensor is active.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the gauge, one pre-installed 3V battery and a user manual. No additional items are required for basic operation.

Which version should I choose for a room that reaches 158°F?

This single model covers -4°F to 158°F and 10% to 99% RH, so it handles the full range without needing a different capacity.
