Universal IEC C7 Replacement Cord

The TCKN 6ft extension cord carries a non-polarised IEC 60320 C7 figure-8 connector to a NEMA 1-15P plug. It is rated at 125 volts and 7 amps using 18 AWG conductors. The cable suits consoles such as PS5, PS5 Slim, PS4, PS4 Slim, PS3 Slim and PS3 Super Slim. It also fits Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One X and Xbox One S. Other compatible devices include TVs, printers, soundbars, speakers and JBL PartyBox 310 or 320 models.

UL Listed Construction and Daily Use

The cord has passed UL testing for bending resistance, heat resistance and flame retardance. Black PVC jacketing protects the 18 AWG wires during routine handling. A six-foot length gives enough reach for typical living-room or desk setups without excess slack. The two-prong plug inserts either way into a standard North American outlet, so orientation is never an issue.

Compatibility Limits of the Figure-8 Interface

This cable only works with equipment that uses a two-slot figure-8 inlet. It will not fit the original PS3 Fat, PS4 Pro, PS1, PS2 or any PSP or PS Vita model. Microsoft Xbox 360 variants including Core, Pro, Elite, Slim, E and the original Xbox One are also excluded. Buyers needing a three-prong grounded connection or a different inlet shape must choose another cable.

Questions about this item

What voltage and current does the IEC C7 figure-8 connector support?

The cord is rated for 125 V and 7 A, matching the IEC 60320 C7 specification for non-polarised 2-slot inlets.

What clearance does the 6 ft, 18 AWG cable need behind the device?

The male NEMA 1-15P plug and female C7 connector each add roughly 4 cm depth; allow at least 15 cm behind the console or TV for a gentle bend radius.

How do you connect the cord, and what mistake should be avoided?

Plug the 2-prong end into the wall outlet and the figure-8 end into the device; the non-polarised C7 fits either way, but forcing it upside-down on a polarised inlet will damage the port.
