The drive includes SLC caching, TRIM support, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring and advanced garbage collection to maintain consistent performance and extend service life. It is suited for desktops and laptops that require a high-capacity SATA storage upgrade.

Upgrading from a hard drive or smaller SATA SSD

Replacing a mechanical hard drive with this drive eliminates moving parts and cuts boot and application load times significantly. Moving up from a lower-capacity SATA SSD adds 2TB of space and a TBW rating of 1024TB without changing the interface or form factor.
