HDMI Port Saver With Gold Connectors

This right-angled adapter connects a standard HDMI male plug to an HDMI female port, reducing cable strain on televisions, monitors and projectors. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain reliable signal transfer. The compact 90-degree left design fits tight spaces behind wall-mounted screens or crowded AV racks. It supports video resolutions up to 4Kx2K.

Suits Tight Rear Panels Not Side Ports

Installers routing cables behind flush-mounted displays or through narrow trunking will benefit from the angled profile. Users with side-facing HDMI sockets or ample rear clearance gain no advantage and may prefer a straight coupler. The single adapter adds one connection point, so runs requiring multiple bends need additional hardware.

90-Degree Left Angle Orientation

The connector bends 90 degrees to the left when viewed from the male plug, determining cable exit direction relative to the device. Verify the port layout on your equipment matches this orientation before purchase. A right-angled or straight variant would be required for different socket arrangements.

Questions about this item

How do I install the right-angled HDMI male-to-female adapter without damaging the port?

Align the HDMI male plug with the device port, insert straight in until fully seated, then route the cable along the 90-degree bend; the step people get wrong is forcing the connector sideways before it clicks home.

Will the gold-plated contacts need cleaning or replacement over time?

The gold-plated connectors resist corrosion, so no routine cleaning or contact replacement is required under normal indoor use.

What is the first limitation I hit when running 4Kx2K continuously through this adapter?

The passive 20 g assembly relies on the source device's signal drive; sustained 4Kx2K may fail if the source cannot maintain the high-speed HDMI timing budget over the added connector length.
